For those of you that were not at CrossFit Nation yesterday, the 4th installment of the Eastern Shore Affiliate Challenge is in the books, and CrossFit Salisbury still has the trophy! Man, we gotta get that thing. In a repeat of last year, our high-finishing athletes were Alyssa (#3 Rx’d Female) and Kenny (#12 Rx’d Male). There were 10 gyms represented and 8 gyms entered the team competition. In the first event of the team comp, CFKI got 2nd in our 4-gym heat, but failed to advance because the next heat killed it and their scores knocked us out. In the end, a head-to-head matchup of Salisbury vs. Sweat Angel in a fun Fran-inspired workout (21-15-9 of Thrusters and Box Jumps, follow-the-leader style), led to Salisbury winning by 2 seconds. It was an awesome finish, and even though we weren’t in it at the end, I’m so proud of our guys and girls for the huge effort they put out.
