Gotta talk about Fran before we get to snatches and Isabel.  This was one of those evenings (no one dared to brave the 6am Fran experience this morning) where the brutal triumph of good over evil, or perseverance over quitting, was so alive in the gym.  Everyone that has done Fran before knew it was going to hurt, but every single person took on the challenge and just absolutely threw down, including Kenny with a new gym record of 3:00!  Then there was Will, who having done one intro workout earlier in the week just stepped into oncoming Fran traffic and banged through it 2 or 3 reps at a time.  That was so awesome.  Everyone should feel great about today!
Now for Isabel, a simple, single-movement workout meant to test your stamina, or ability to operate at a very high intensity (anaerobic) for as long as possible. The weight is meant to be relatively heavy, but not quite at your 1RM.  So we’ll test out the Snatch 1RM first, drilling the correct technique in the Squat and Power Snatch, and then determine scaling for Isabel from there.  Let’s go heavy overhead!

30 Snatches for time, 135/95 lbs (scale to 80% of 1RM)
