The looks on your faces when you walk in the gym tell me about how closely you follow this blog.  People that take the approach of not checking what the workout is going to be walk through the door with a chipper “I’m ready to do this!” face.  People that know that THRUSTERS are on the menu… well, they don’t look thrilled.  All that matters though is that you jump on that bar and get the work done!  And you all do that every day – I’m so proud of everyone.
I get tremendous motivation from your performances and daily improvements as well – it motivates me to get better as a trainer and as an athlete myself.  Today I worked out with Kenny and although I try to “just do my own workout”, not using my peripheral vision to compare my performance to others, Kenny’s reputation as a WOD Killer precedes him, and that absolutely made me faster!  And Ryan Matis’ time of 9:52 already on the board was a huge motivator as well as I looked up at the clock after each set, daring myself to stop resting and GO FASTER.
Dominators today:  Ryan 8:57, Kenny 9:50, Matis 9:52, Christine 7:08 (Deadlift 65lb, 25lb plate Thruster), Heather 7:31 (95lb Deadlift, 35lb Thruster)
