Carse

A good quick running workout today following some great improvement in Double-Unders!  Michelle, Heather and Jimmy all got some big breakthroughs stringing them together, following great examples from Craig and Alyssa.
Fast runners tonight: Matis 5:30, Alyssa 5:38, Byron (with a 40-lb ruck) 7:23
Tomorrow we say “thanks” to a fallen hero, U.S. Army Corporal Nathan B. Carse, 32, of Harrod, Ohio, assigned to the 2nd Engineer Battalion, 176th Engineer Brigade.  Carse died in Kandahar, Afghanistan, on February 8, 2011, from wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit using an improvised explosive device. He is survived by his mother Janis and sisters Megan Brown and Kristin Purdy.
