The most important part of the Snatch is having the confidence to catch the weight overhead in a full squat position.  If you can do that, you can develop a big lift, either in the Power or Squat.  Today’s goal was to begin acquiring that confidence, and I think there was a lot of progress made there!
And then on to the WOD – 8 minutes of Burpees!  There was a lot of dread coming into this one, I’m sure, but it goes quickly and with minimal rest you can get over 100 reps.  Caleb (watch out for the new guy!) rang in at 125 Burpees, Alyssa got 120, Craig got 114, and Byron squeezed out 104.  Great job guys!
